**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our privately owned dental office. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing quality dental care and ensure excellent patient service. We are looking for someone who is friendly, a team player, and looking for an opportunity for growth. We welcome applicants with NO experience, if you possess the right qualities.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take dental x-rays
- Take impressions/scan of patients' teeth
- Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare
- Maintain accurate patient records
**Requirements:**
- RDA license in the State of Texas
- Knowledge of infection control procedures
- Familiarity with all dental procedures
- Proficiency in dental practice management systems
- Experience with dental imaging techniques
- Understanding of dental coding principles
- Proficiency in dental software, we will be using Oryx
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience and proficiency with the use of technology

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
