Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and patient assessment techniques. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional care in a supportive environment.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures using appropriate techniques and tools.
Assist in four-handed dentistry by supporting the dentist during examinations and procedures.
Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with office protocols.
Ensure compliance with infection control standards and maintain a clean, organized dental office environment.
Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and dental systems to communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Experience

A valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices, dental terminology, and infection control protocols is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively with the dental team.
Ability to adapt to new technologies and procedures within the dental field.

Pay: $40.00 - $47.00 per hour
