Job Description
Dental Assistant
Duties:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments- Take digital dental x-rays- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform medical coding and documentation for patient records- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using Open Dental software- Assist with patient assessment and triage- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
Qualifications:- X-ray and CPR/BLS certification- Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
