Job Description
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform patient assessments and record medical histories- Assist with medical coding and documentation- Manage patient appointments and maintain accurate medical records
Skills:- Proficiency in using CAD software for dental design- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist with various dental procedures and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and assisting with medical coding and documentation.
