Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and various dental procedures. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for patients while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before procedures.
Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis.
Utilize a 3D scanner for accurate impressions when necessary.
Record vital signs and patient medical histories accurately.
Manage patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic environment.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing billing processes related to medical coding.
ExperienceCandidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:
Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential.
Experience in prosthodontics is a plus but not mandatory.
Proficiency in using medical imaging equipment is preferred.
Understanding of vital signs monitoring is beneficial.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable but not required for motivated individuals willing to learn.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
