Dental Assistant position available 5 days a week 9am to 5pm for a long established dental practice in Worcester, Ma. Must be experienced, organized and dependable. Great team oriented working conditions. Excellent pay and benefits. The position is available immediately. Duties:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, and taking impressions- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records systems lQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred- X-ray certification required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
