Job Description

Mova Dental, a brand-new, independently owned dental office in Framingham, MA, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a driven, organized, and experienced dental assistant to help build and lead our back office as the practice expands. Portuguese or Spanish speaking candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in multi-faceted, bread-and-butter dentistry procedures, including root canals and digital scanning for crowns.
• Manage back office compliance, including:
• Monthly autoclave maintenance.
• Quarterly water line bleaching and testing.
• Dental supply ordering and inventory management.
• Support and mentor clinical team members to ensure efficiency and compliance with protocols.
• Ensure sterilization protocols and aseptic techniques are consistently followed.
• Oversee clinical operations, including:
• Patient scheduling and treatment workflow.
• Coordination with front desk and dental providers to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Provide leadership and foster a positive, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 years of experience as a dental assistant, preferably in a multi-specialty or general dental setting.
• Experience with digital scanning for crowns (e.g., iTero or similar systems).
• Familiarity with dental assisting in general restorative and root canal procedures.
• Proven ability to manage dental back office compliance and clinical operations.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
• Portuguese and Spanish speaking candidates are preferred.
• Cerec experience

Work Schedule

• Part-time initially:
• Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
• Saturday: 8:30 AM–3:00 PM.
• Opportunity for full-time as the practice grows.
