Job Description
*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing high-quality dental care to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about dental health and patient care.
*Duties*
- room set-up for exam, cleaning, restorations, crown, RCT, extraction, implant.
- xray taking skills
- digital scaner and temp making skills
- denture bite and wax taking skills
- impression taking skills
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Prepare patients for dental procedures by taking their vital signs and reviewing their medical history
- Educate patients on proper oral healthcare
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment by following infection control protocols
- Manage patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate
- Perform various office tasks as needed
*Skills*
- Proficiency in infection control procedures
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices
- Familiarity with dental assisting techniques
- Understanding of dental terminology
- Ability to work effectively with pediatric patients
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Experience in general dentistry procedures
- Basic understanding of prosthodontics
- Ability to take accurate vital signs
- Familiarity with Dentrix software
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
