Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care. This position is only for evening hours only ( 4/5 PM - 8/9 PM)
Duties- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software is preferred- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry techniques- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Knowledge of various dental specialties such as prosthodontics, endodontics, and Ortho- Experience in dental receptionist duties is a plus- Proficiency in using dentrix ascend or similar electronic health record systems
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
