As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during various treatment procedures. You will be responsible for preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking dental radiographs, educating patients on oral hygiene, and maintaining accurate patient records. Your knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and diagnosis will be essential in providing quality care to our patients.
To be successful in this role, you should have completed an accredited dental assisting program and hold a certification in dental radiography. Familiarity with dental software systems such as CurveHero is desired. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance is necessary to ensure patient privacy.
Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with patients and providing clear instructions on post-operative care.

Duties:- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and prepare dental instruments and materials- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:- Bilingual (Spanish)- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program- X-ray certification- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and diagnosis- High school diploma or equivalent- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance- Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
