Job Description
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records- Maintain a clean and organized dental operatory- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Skills:- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology- Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is preferred- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, such as digital radiography- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient records and appointment scheduling- Familiarity with dental assisting procedures and techniques
