Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant or someone new to the dental field to join our dynamic dental practice. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to enhancing the patient experience. Experience is a plus but willing to train the right person from scratch.
Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain the dental clinic environment, ensuring it is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Take and develop X-rays as needed.
Support prosthodontic procedures by preparing materials and assisting with patient management.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient scheduling, medical documentation, and record-keeping.
Assist in creating dental models.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy and dental systems to provide informed assistance during procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.

Skills

Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques.
Experience in dental assisting within a clinical setting.
Familiarity with X-ray procedures and safety protocols.
Solid understanding of dental anatomy and systems to support clinical tasks.

Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 11 – 30 per week
