Job Description
Dentologie dental group is seeking an awesome, experienced General Dentist(s) to join us in a full-time role seated in our Gold Coast and Clark and Diversey office(s)! Both of these beautiful practices are located within the downtown Chicago area, with easy access to nearby Metra lines and public parking. These vibrant downtown neighborhoods host a wide variety of apparel and grocery stores to shop at, entertainment hubs to enjoy, and exceptional cuisine options to savor! As a member of our dentist team, you can expect:
Compensation based on 32.5% of adjusted net production
Average first-year dentist earnings of $254,000
Robust PPO patient flow, averaging 50-80 new patients per month

Provide ortho via Invisalign with a predictable system as part of training. Vivera retainers are considered standard at Dentologie (the retainer offered for the supreme quality).
The ideal candidate would be a skilled doctor focused on providing excellent comprehensive dentistry, be a positive impact to the employee culture, and be an amazing person! We are growing quickly as a group here in Chicago (currently 13 office locations, all PPO) with an active patient base of 40,000 patients and seeing over 1,500 new patients per month! Responsibilities:
Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes.
Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities.
Correct bite issues and overcrowding.
Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.
Prescribe medications for dental problems, such as pain medications or antibiotics.
Order diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc.
Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine and treat teeth.
Keep accurate records relating to the patient's oral health and the tx rendered to them.
Manage positively and openly communicate with other staff members to provide outstanding care to patients.
Diagnose, tx plan, and diagnose oral disease and oral manifestation of systemic diseases.
Routinely follow-up with patients whom youââ¬â¢ve provided treatment via phone or email.
Manage patient experiences, patient expectations, circumvent negative experiences and create positive outcomes for those experiences.
Qualifications:
Active Illinois state dental license (and malpractice insurance).
Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records.
Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools and thorough tx planning skills.
Strong inter-personal and leadership qualities.
Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient.
Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work.
Ability to adapt to Dentologieââ¬â¢s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive feedback and guidance - eager to further enhance your skillset.
