Who Are We Looking For?
We believe our Dental Assistants are the heartbeat of the practice helping with day-to-day operations. We are Seeking a candidate who would love to grow professionally with the office. This position requires a friendly and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Dentist during treatment procedures and communicate with patients, maintaining a friendly demeanor.
Take accurate radiographs ââ¬â Digital X-rays!
Promptly set up treatment operatories and maintain overall cleanliness.
Sterilize, maintain, and carefully handle instruments, equipment, and operatories providing a clean and professional environment (adhering to OSHA and safety policies)
Organize and maintain communication with laboratories regarding patient lab work.
Provide patients with pre-and post-op care instructions.
Assist with presenting and discussing treatment plans.
Various front office tasks (if required)
Experience with a wide variety of procedures including dentures, surgical extractions, root canal treatments, crowns, bridges, etc.
Experience with sedation and implant dentistry would be a big plus, but not required.
Minimum requirements:
Excellent Communication Skills and a Positive Attitude.
Professionally oriented, multi-tasker, and a team player.
High school or equivalent (Preferred).
Dental Assisting: 1 year (Required).
Registered Dental Assistant (Certification Required).
Cross-trained for front office and back (strongly considered).
Current BLS/CPR Certification.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
