Duties
Assist the dentist during various procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring proper techniques are followed for patient safety.
Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient management and medical documentation.
Conduct patient intake, including reviewing medical history and documenting relevant information.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging as required during procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with a solid understanding of general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with anatomy knowledge related to dental health is essential.
Experience with medical documentation processes is beneficial.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix is advantageous.
Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques, X-ray procedures, and 3D scanning technology is highly desirable.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
