We are looking for a full-time Dental Assistant with an energetic, professional attitude, and exceptional people skills to join our team.

A minimum of 1 year Dental assisting experience is required for serious consideration. Salary is negotiable based on experience and job related skills. .

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Perform X-ray imaging as needed, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Utilize 3D scanners for precise imaging and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring cleanliness according to infection control standards.
Support dentistry procedures with a compassionate approach towards all patients.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.
Stay updated on medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice.
Proficiency in X-ray technology and familiarity with 3D scanning equipment is preferred.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Knowledge of Open Dental or other dental management systems is an asset.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare.
Certification in Dental Assisting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is essential.
