Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in providing exceptional patient care in a supportive dental clinic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and infection control, along with experience in maintaining medical records and documentation review. This role is essential for ensuring the highest standards of oral health and hygiene for our patients.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans.
Assist in the implementation of infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Collaborate with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Conduct documentation reviews to ensure compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid Florida state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in general dentistry practices.
Knowledge of coding and systems related to dental care is advantageous.
Experience with EagleSoft and Dexis operating systems a plus.
Strong understanding of infection control procedures and protocols.
Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
Schedule:

8 hour shift
No nights
No weekends
