FULL TIME HYGIENIST POSITION--Experienced preferred but not required

Our goal is to deliver the highest level of dental care to the residents of Northeastern Pennsylvania. We are located on Market Street in Kingston, PA in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility. We pride ourselves on combining experience with the latest techniques and technology to provide our patients with unparalleled treatment. We are growing and are looking to add a full-time hygienist to our team!
The responsibilities of this job include but are not limited to:
Educating patients on the status of their oral health by using current knowledge and educational tools such as intra-oral camera and radiographs
Completing intra-oral and extra-oral examines and noting abnormalities to discuss with the doctor
Taking Digital x-rays including FMX, Panoramic, BWX, PA's
Ability to digitally chart existing restorations, needed restorations, perio charts and treatment plans, great computer skills are a must have for this position
Performing prophylaxis on patients of all ages, periodontal maintenance and SRP appointments
Sterilization of instruments
Ability to perform proper and accurate documentation for patients
Must be a team player and willing to help out in all aspects of a dental office
Qualifications
Valid dental hygiene license
Proficient in chairside assisting and patient care
Knowledge of dental terminology and medical records management
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques
Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
Ability to perform patient assessments and vital signs monitoring
Strong documentation skills and understanding of EMR systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
