Our office is looking for a Hygienist that not only has the clinical capability, but is also a good fit with the team in personality. We are a close office, that works hard, but likes to have fun! We are Searching for an individual who is upbeat, positive, team player, forward thinking, & proactive.
Looking for someone to work 2 days a week. Must be able to work a Tuesday/Thursday.
Job OverviewAs a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and preventing dental diseases. You will work closely with dentists to provide quality dental care to patients.
Duties- Conduct dental cleanings and assist with procedures such as fluoride treatments and sealant application- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and proper care techniques- Perform dental charting and take X-rays as needed- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment for each patient- Assist in patient assessment and treatment planning
Experience- Experience working in a dental clinic setting- Proficiency with dental software such as Open Dental- Knowledge of medical imaging, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures- Familiarity with medical documentation, medical records, and HIPAA regulations
-Anesthesia certification not required, but encouraged.- Strong patient assessment skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $46.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
