Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during dental procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and conducting oral examinations.
Administer preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry practices to provide specialized care for younger patients.
Skills
Proficient in medical terminology and dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Strong knowledge of infection control practices to maintain a sterile work environment.
Experience with Dentrix or Eaglesoft software for managing patient records efficiently.
Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and provide tailored recommendations for oral health improvement.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles is preferred but not required.

Pay: $42.00 - $46.00 per hour
