Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and bilingual Dental Assistant fluent in both Portuguese and English to join our dynamic dental practice. As a key member of our team, you will assist our dental professionals in providing top-notch oral healthcare services to our diverse patient base. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in a supportive and collaborative environment. Prior dental experience is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate if you do not have any experience.
Responsibilities:
● Assist dentists and dental hygienists during clinical procedures.● Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments.● Welcome and prepare patients for treatment.● Take and develop dental X-rays.● Maintain accurate patient records.● Perform office management tasks as needed.
Requirements:
● Fluency in both Portuguese and English● Proven experience as a dental assistant or relevant certification preferred but not required.● Strong organizational and multitasking skills.● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program.● Radiation Health and Safety Certification● CPR/AED (BLS) certification● OSHA certification● Experience with dental software systems (e.g., Eaglesoft).
