Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting our dentists in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and the ability to work efficiently with dental systems, including Dentrix and 3D scanners. Experience in general dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics is highly desirable.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the Dentrix system.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing patient inquiries, and coordinating with the dental receptionist.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and equipment is essential.
Proficiency in using Dentrix software and 3D scanning technology is an advantage.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program is preferred but not mandatory.
