Requirements:
Experience working as a dental assistant or working in healthcare settings.
Be able to take dental X-rays.
Experience with insurance billing.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.
High level of professionalism and patience.
Spanish speaker preferred.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist throughout the dental procedure.
Prepare patients for treatment and make treatment decisions for them.
Take and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
Observe patients while they are receiving treatment and while they were being treated. This includes checking for adverse reactions to chemicals, medications, or treatments, checking for changes in patients' sizes or shape or weight, or in their locations or positions, and in patient's supplies or equipment.
Assist the dentist through all phases of a dental procedure. Once the procedure is completed, the Dental Assistant should clean and prepare the room where the procedure was performed. They should also ensure that all supplies needed to conduct the procedure are within the patient's reach at all times. The Dental Assistant should ensure that all dental instruments are cleaned and stored properly. The Dental Assistant should ensure that all necessary dental records are available at all times.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Saturdays from 9am-1pm as needed
Experience:
Dental assisting: 2 years (Preferred)
Familiar with Oryx Dental software (bonus)
License/Certification:
X-Ray Certification (Required)
Ability to Commute:
Glendora, CA 91741 (Required)
