Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. You will work closely with the dental team to promote oral health and educate patients on proper hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in the management of infection control protocols within the clinic.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including pediatric dentistry when necessary.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient scheduling and record management.
Ensure a clean and organized work environment in accordance with dental office standards.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards in a dental clinic setting.
Previous experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with patients of all ages.
A compassionate approach to patient care, particularly in pediatrics.
