Dreier Family Dental is an established, state-of-the-art, private, general dentistry practice, and is currently seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team.
Our team is busy and system-oriented. We prioritize the use of the latest technology in order to provide the highest quality patient care. The practice is very team-driven with an emphasis on collaboration versus working solo. We offer a friendly, family oriented, no nights or weekends, caring work atmosphere.
Our current available position is part-time with the schedule of Monday 8-5, Thursday 8-5, and Friday 8-2.
Our ideal Dental Hygienist:

Has the ability to maintain a current license/certification in Wisconsin.
Has experience taking and recording dental histories and patient records and documenting areas of failure, both periodontally and restoratively, to facilitate the dentist’s diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
Has a thorough understanding of how to remove hard and soft deposits from teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease.
Can readily instruct and educate patients in oral hygiene, provide preventative dental care, take and develop X-rays, and apply fluoride or sealants
Helps maintain patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat and organized
Is willing to abide by the practice’s protocols for patient care, room set up, and equipment sterilization
Is articulate, service-oriented, and has great eye/hand coordination in order to provide gentle and thorough hygiene care to our patients
Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development
Prioritizes patient rapport and outstanding customer service
Shows a strong respect for all coworkers, regardless of position

Dental Hygienist Requirements

Associate’s Degree from an ADA accredited dental hygienist school
Current state licensure
Preferably one year of dental hygiene experience
Certified in anesthesia and/or sedation
Strong organizational and administrative skills – you see what needs to be done and do it
Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
