Palmdale Children and Family Dentistry and Orthodontics is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to patients of all ages. We are a well-established, family-oriented practice with a focus on high-quality patient care and a collaborative team environment.
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing top-notch patient care. You will play a crucial role in our office by performing routine dental cleanings, educating patients on oral health, and assisting with dental procedures.
- Conduct dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing.
- Perform oral cancer screenings.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
- Follow infection control and OSHA protocols.
**Qualifications:**
- Current California Dental Hygienist license.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in dental software and X-ray machines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing a high standard of care.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $52.42 per hour
