Job Description

Private family oriented dental practice looking for a Hygienist on Wednesday's with the possibility of adding Monday's in the future. PPO and fee for service patients only.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Take digital bite wing x-rays- Conduct oral cancer screenings- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions- Administer local anesthesia as needed- Maintain a sterile environment- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in the dental record
Experience:- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred- Proficiency in infection control protocols and aseptic technique- Familiarity with Practice Works dental software a plus.- Experience working in a dental office setting and collaborating with a dental team- Ability to operate and interpret dental imaging equipment
Skills:- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records- Compassionate and caring demeanor to provide a comfortable experience for patients- Ability to work independently while also being a team player
