Job Description
Commonwealth Endodontics is searching for a reliable, friendly, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our busy and growing practice in a dual-role capacity! The majority of the position involves providing clinical patient care, with additional responsibilities as a Scheduling Coordinator when not assisting chairside.

Four-handed dental assisting experience (highly preferred)
Current Radiology Certification (required)
Current BLS/CPR Certification (required)
Ability to operate all basic office equipment (required)
Effective, professional written and oral communication skills (required)
Ability to read and write proficiently (required)
Manual dexterity for data entry (required)
Ability to lift at least 20 pounds (required)
HIPPA and OSHA compliant
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operatory set-up and breakdown
Preparing patients for treatment
Treatment responsibilities
Sterilization duties
Miscellaneous
End-of- the- day responsibilities
Assisting with IV Conscious Sedation and General Anesthesia Sedation patients
Assisting Endodontic Microsurgery
Answers all incoming calls expeditiously in a professional, courteous manner
Schedules, re-schedules, and cancels appointments for all doctors and offices
Promptly notifies offices of any same day or following day schedule changes
Answers caller questions when able; transfers calls to co-workers or doctors as necessary
Accurately takes phone messages and dependably relays them to appropriate office or individual
Identifies whether callers are new or existing patients
Completes patient intake forms quickly with precision
Correctly inputs into the system each patientââ¬â¢s appointment, demographics, medical, and insurance information
Gives callers clear and exact directions to the office
Directs patients and referrers to online registration link to complete necessary documents
Evaluates schedules daily to be sure that they are booked correctly
A team player who is willing to help co-workers as needed
Assists in other office tasks
Manages email account
Inputs patient information from online registration
Scanning, copying and faxing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 ââ¬â 40 per week
