Job Description

We are a well-established endodontic practice seeking a full-time dental assistant to join our team. We are a chartless and state-of-the-art practice. If you are organized, motivated, and dependable, with a positive attitude we would love to meet you! Exceptional customer service is a must. An ideal candidate would be a self-starter, punctual, pays attention to detail, and has an outgoing personality. Must have current FLORIDA EFDA/CDA, and radiology certification. Responsibilities

Welcome patients to the dental office
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Provide post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

Skills

Proven experience as a dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer/typing skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred'
