Responsibilities:- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the Dentrix system- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries- Collect and process payments from patients- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents- Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and visitors
Qualifications:- Previous experience as a dental receptionist administrative- Proficiency in using office Dentrix- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus- Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations in a dental setting
