Schedule for the Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday & Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM (once per month)

Requirements and Responsibilities of the Orthodontic Dental Assistant

At least 1 year of orthodontic assisting and/or front office experience
Float between the administrative and clinical department
Record and maintain orthodontic photos, CBCT, and intraoral scanning files
Place separators and bandings
Assist the doctors in bondings for labial and lingual brackets
Change and tie/untie archwires
Make adjustments to c-chain, stainless steel ties, k-hooks
Work with SureSmile wires and distalizing archwires
Submit cases for SureSmile wires and aligners
Deliver appliances and do impressions for appliances
Carry out laboratory work such as pouring models and making essix retainers

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
