State of the art dental practice located in West Loop is looking for a part time hygienist for 20-25 hours/week. We are a full-service privately-owned practice providing both general and aesthetic dentistry including Invisalign. New grads are welcome!
We are looking for a hygienist who is organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused. Someone who is personable and focused on patient care.
Your job duties include:

Proficient in performing dental hygiene procedures, including non-surgical periodontal treatment
Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
Performs proper diagnostic x-rays to aid in diagnosis of decay and disease
Administers fluoride treatment
Proper documentation of existing restorations, notable areas of possible decay and disease, periodontal charting, and patient chief concerns
Instructs patients in proper oral hygiene techniques and provides relevant educational information on their oral health
Practices universal precautions, sterilization, and infection control procedures.

Requirements:

Have an active dental hygiene license, in good standing, with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
Hold current CPR (BLS) certification
Experienced in digital radiography

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient with Dentrix Ascend
Licensed in local anesthesia

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
Schedule:

Monday to Friday
