Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing top-notch patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering quality dental services. We are looking for Part Time assistants to be available Monday to Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Manage patient records and scheduling
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Dentrix software preferred.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Valid dental assistant certification (CDA/RDA preferred).
- Familiarity with endodontic, extractions and implant procedures.
- Understanding of dental anatomy and terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 3 years or more experience as a Dental Assistant.
