Job SummaryAs a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting dental professionals during patient procedures and helping to ensure efficient dental office operations.
Duties- Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental work by taking vital signs and reviewing medical history- Perform X-rays and other diagnostic procedures under the dentist's supervision- Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures- Maintain infection control standards and sterilize instruments- Manage patient records using electronic health record systems like Epic or Eaglesoft- Specialize in various areas such as pediatrics, endodontics, or general dentistry
Experience- Proficiency in taking vital signs and medical coding- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures- Familiarity with X-ray procedures and equipment- Understanding of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques- Experience with electronic health record systems like Curve
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
