We are a well respected private practice located in Beverly Hills. We are looking for a DA/RDA or RDAEF2 who will help our office stay efficient, organized and comfortable for our high end clients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and give each patient a comfortable visit. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations from back office lead. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. You should be able to think ahead and work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients at all times
- Prepare and maintain the dental treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, sterilized, and well-stocked with supplies and equipment
- Greet patients and create a welcoming atmosphere in the dental office, catering to the needs of high-end clients
- Take accurate dental impressions, perform dental x-rays, and conduct preliminary oral examinations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Maintain and organize patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information
- Coordinate with the front office team to schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and ensure smooth operations within the dental office
- Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology, techniques, and materials
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other team members
- Excellent chair side manner and the ability to create a comfortable and positive experience for patients, especially high-end clientele.
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed for procedure
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Assist in oral surgery procedures
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols.
- Inventory management
- Orthodontic deliveries
Skills:
- Proven experience as dental assistant
- RDA is preferred but not always required
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- Proper reliable transportation
- High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $34 per hour
