POSITION SUMMARY

Under the general supervision of the Dental Director to provide care in the following disciplines of general dentistry: diagnosis, preventative, pediatric, removable, fixed, endodontic, and oral surgery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose and provide appropriate, comprehensive dental treatment to patients
Demonstrate commitment to Davis Street’s mission statement
Communicate with the staff on our team regarding patient’s treatment plans
Thoroughly document all diagnoses and treatments rendered
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Attend meetings and trainings as requested
Participate in the annual Health Fair during one Saturday in August
Provide information and assistance to the Dental Director for the purpose of program development, implementation, and evaluation
Work a flexible schedule as necessary for clinical operations
Perform duties as necessary for clinical operations
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate from an accredited dental school
Current license to practice dentistry in California
Current DEA license
1 year related experience preferred
Desire to work with culturally diverse populations and varied socio-economic levels
Proficiency in using computers and EMR software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly and professional demeanor
Commitment to the mission and values of Davis Street
