Our company is looking for a detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will enjoy interacting with people and be a strong communicator. Our office is seeking candidates with previous dental experience, as well as strong communication skills and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities:

Prepares treatment room for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols
Prepares patient for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, soothing, seating, and draping patient
Provide preventative oral health care (e.g. cleaning and polishing teeth, administering fluoride treatments, Applying Sealants) to patients.
Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests
Maintains instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments
Educates patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions; providing reminders of time of next dental hygiene visit
Maintain office practice (e.g. scheduling appointments, handling telephone calls, filing paperwork with patient records) following dental hygienist's standard procedures and under the hygienist's supervision.
Maintain understanding of new dental procedures and technologies.
