Job Description:
Join our dynamic and patient-centered dental practice as a Dental Assistant! We are committed to providing high-quality care and are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and empathetic individual to assist our dental team in delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
•* Assist dentists during clinical procedures and exams.*
•* Prepare and arrange dental instruments, materials, and equipment.*
•* Sterilize instruments following infection control protocols.*
•* Take patient x-rays and ensure proper documentation.*
•* Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures *
•* Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.*
•* Maintain patient records, including updating health histories and noting treatment provided.*
•* Support the front office team when needed (scheduling, answering phones).*
Qualifications:
•* High school diploma or equivalent.*
•* Dental Assistant certification from an accredited program.*
•* Experience in a dental setting preferred.*
•* Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.*
•* Proficiency in digital x-ray equipment and dental software*
•* Friendly, patient-oriented demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.*
•* Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy environment.*
•* Radiology certification and CPR certification required.*
