Job Description

We are looking to add a part time hygienist to our team at Avalon Dental. We are a small, privately owned dental office in Gilbert. We are looking for a hygienist to work 2 days a week.
Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures such as dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing- Take dental x-rays and intra oral pictures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide oral health instructions- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
- Valid state dental hygiene license- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program- Proficiency in using Dentrix- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $42.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
