Job Description
High Plains Periodontics and Implant Dentistry is seeking a Front Desk/Treatment Coordinator to join our fast-paced periodontal practice.
Our Front Desk/Treatment Coordinator will continue to grow our practice, build strong rapport, and deliver detailed information to our patients. This individual will schedule patient consultations, meet patients face-to-face, and answer questions about the treatment plan, collect payments, and present a professional impression of the practice. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a requirement.
We prefer someone that has experience working in a dental practice. In addition to our surgical practice, we have a growing hygiene department as well. The ideal candidate understands customer service and would thrive in a team-oriented environment where they can be recognized for their contribution to the practice. The ideal candidate is personable, reliable, and flexible as we are a wonderful team and support each other to achieve a high level of patient care.
Working hours are as follows:
Monday ââ¬â Thursday 8am to 5pm
Friday ââ¬â 7am to 12pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
÷ Greet patients and present a professional, sophisticated impression of our practice.
÷ Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patients on various requests.
÷ Collect and post patient payments for consultations, treatments, and surgeries.
÷ Utilize written communication skills via email daily.
÷ Assess patient needs and provide practice and procedural information in a clear manner.
÷ Develop treatment plans as directed by the doctor and present to the patient with fees, assist with financial arrangements, and deliver pre-operative information as needed.
÷ Schedule appointments and surgeries for patients: obtain consents, schedule post-op follow up appointments, and collect fees prior to procedure.
÷ Provide administrative support as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
÷ High school diploma or equivalent.
÷ Minimum 2+ years of dental / oral surgery experience.
÷ STRONG computer skills including basic Microsoft programs such as Word / Excel, but also the ability to use a practice management system.
÷ EXCELLENT spelling / grammar and overall ability to express clear thoughts in writing and via phone.
÷ Ability to multi-task and exceptional attention to detail.
÷ Extremely organized and able to follow systems.
÷ Enthusiastic and loves customer service and interactions with the public.
÷ Ability to work independently.
÷ Excellent phone skills with a friendly, personable manner.
÷ Honest, reliable, and completes tasks on time with accuracy.
