Job Description

Our General Dentistry Practice is seeking a responsible and Fiendly Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated fun dental team.

Who We Are

We are a high end dentistry office who give each pjatient their own appointment time. We see from 6-10 patient per day. We see PPO and Fee For Service Patieints. No HMO or Medicare patients. We do from dentures, Implants, 3/4 crowns, extractions, Invisalign, Sleep Apnea treatment, Composites, We take digital photos with a Digital SLR camera on every one and Digital Xrays. We are open Monday through Friday 9-6, but open on Tuesday from 11-8, for patients who come after work, so that we do not have to come in on Saturdays

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a responsible, Multitasking, friendly dental assistant with a X-ray license and bilingual Spanish speaking. The dental assistant will seat and dismiss the patients, assist the dentist. The DA will clean and set up rooms and sterilize instruments. They will enter clinical notes into the computer with Dentrix Dental program. We want a People Person, with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Help the dental hygienist with Perio Probing
• Take digital xrays- FMX into Dentrix
• Take Alginate impressions and pour up models and trim models.
• Help with retraction for taking Digital Photos
• Greet and seat the patients, take their blood pressure, explain what treatment will be done, Assist the dentist.
• Enter treatment notes into the computer before the patient is dismissed, so the patients hears what was done
• Dismiss the patient and hand off to the front dest team and explain what is the next appt is for.
• Clean and bag and sterilize the instruments, and how to use the Cold Sterile and Autoclave
• Prepare the rooms for the next patient and for the followinig morning patient.
