**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Take dental X-rays
- Ensure patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in dental assisting or related field
- Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental software systems
- Familiarity with infection control procedures
- Proficiency in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and X-ray techniques
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients
- Certification in dental assisting is preferred
