Who We Need:
A self-starter who is passionate about patient care and helping people improve their oral health. Your primary role will be running our day to day administrative tasks. You must have excellent people skills and be an active participant in helping grow the practice. Familiarity with Open Dental software preferred. *Please only apply if you have experience in DENTISTRY*
Work with a warm and welcoming team
Job Duties:
Communicating with patients about their appointments, outstanding treatments, balances, etc.,
Checking patients in/out
Verifying dental benefits as needed
Preparing the schedule for the following business day
Proactively work to fill the schedule - scheduling patients for their unscheduled treatment needs and RECALL appointments
Ensuring that the office maintains a good flow
Keeping the reception area/lobby clean
Other administrative duties not listed
Qualifications:
Have a comprehensive knowledge of dental terminology, dental procedures, insurance plans and claims processing, EOBs
Be efficient and detail-oriented
Understand productive doctor and hygiene scheduling
Have excellent communication and customer service skills
Have great planning and organizing skills
Proficient with basic computer skills
Familiarity with Open Dental software preferred
Office Hours:
Monday - Thursday - 7AM - 4PM
Friday - Sunday - CLOSED
Our office staggers lunch so that someone can always remain at the reception area and complete administrative tasks.
