We need a Part-time RDH
FRIDAY ONLY
Single column. 1 hr recalls. Up to 1.5 hrs NP.
7:30am-4:30pm. Potentially 6:30am start on days we fill your 7am apt. 1 hr lunch.

Summary
You’ll be responsible for completing initial patient screenings, conducting dental cleanings, assisting the dentist with examinations, patient recall appointments, sterilization duties, and keeping the office clean. We are looking for someone with incredible customer service skills and a passion for providing excellent dental care. Dental Hygienist Duties & Responsibilities

Talk to patients and make sure they feel comfortable
Clean dental instruments after procedures as well as other sterilization tasks
Perform preliminary dental examinations
Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities
Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay
Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages
Provide post-operative health education to patients
Create dental impressions as requested
Take radiographic images and utilize an intra-oral camera
Work with dentist to decide the best form of treatment for a variety of dental disease
Keep detailed records of each patient’s visit and update their health history
Assist in keeping the office clean
Open minded to learning new things
Being a team player
Scheduling and contacting patients to schedule their recall appointments

Dental Hygienist Requirements

Dental Hygiene degree and license required
Current CPR certification
An understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7 – 9 per week

No weekends

Experience:

RDH: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Registered Dental Hygienist license (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

Cary, NC 27518: Relocate before starting work (Required)
