Job OverviewWe are a private high end dental practice looking to add a full time certified dental assistant cross trained in front desk. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in joining our team in ensuring the smooth operation of both our clinical department and front desk, providing exceptional customer service to our patients.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations-Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed- Undertake lab tasks as instructed- Take dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care- Maintain accurate patient records- Schedule patient appointments-Keep the dental treatment room clean and well stocked- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner- Schedule and confirm appointments- Assist with medical documentation, including maintaining patient records- Knowledge of dental terminology and medical records management- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently- Coordinate with dental assistants for patient care and treatmentRequirements
-Valid Dental Assistant and Radiology certification Required- Proficiency in medical terminology specific to dentistry- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs
