Employment Type: Full-Time
Monday - Thursday: 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Job Description:

As a Dental Assistant at Lake Underhill Dental Studio, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our patients receive the best care and leave with a smile. Responsibilities:

Sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines
Assist our dentists during procedures, making sure they have everything they need.
Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
Accurately record patient medical histories and dental treatments.
Provide clear and compassionate post-operative care instructions.
Ensure patient comfort from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Help with front office tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a certified dental assistant program.
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Must be familiar with OSHA guidelines (infection control) and HIPAA guidelines
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow precise instructions.
Proficiency in dental software and basic computer skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting.
Knowledge of dental radiography.
Bilingual Spanish Speaker (A Plus!)
