**Job Overview:**
Monday thru Thursday work week, 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and be knowledgeable in dental procedures and terminology.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment
- Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Perform various office tasks as necessary
**Requirements:**
- EFDA Certification
- CPR Certification
- Proficiency in dental software systems, such as Eagle soft
- Knowledge of dental coding and HIPAA regulations
- Experience with dental imaging techniques
- Familiarity with infection control protocols
- Strong assisting skills during dental procedures
