Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated, knowledgeable, and hard working Dental Hygienist. Our busy Hales Corners practice is opening a brand new, state of the art office and looking to add to our growing team. We are a general dental office that sees patients of all ages, abilities, and oral conditions. Part time available with potential to grow.
Duties:
- Greet and prepare patients for dental care including taking and updated medical history
- Take radiographs and intra oral photos as prescribed by the dentist
- Update patient charting and be detailed orientated to accurately chart patients dental conditions
- Perform prophylaxis, SRP, or maintenance therapy as prescribed
- Educate patients on current oral condition and instruct on proper oral hygiene
- Discuss and answer questions to any recommended or prescribed dental treatment]
- Be able to administer anesthetic
- Maintain all infection control policies
- Be an active participant in office meetings
- Help and assistant in other areas of the office when and if needed
- Work with two doctors
- Maintain hygiene and office equipment and instruments
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Dental Hygiene License in the state of Wisconsin
- Be up to date or willing to actively participate in training for CPR, Infection Control, an HIPAA
- Possess strong commitment to patient care
- Be an effective communication and team player
- Must be detailed orientated, organized, demonstrated good decision-making and professionalism.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 26 per week
