Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our team at a private dental office. The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and be knowledgeable in dental terminology and procedures. Will train if needed.
Duties- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients- Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation- Utilize 3D scanner technology for imaging purposes- Handle receptionist duties when needed using Eaglesoft software- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy
Qualifications- Certification or degree from an accredited dental assisting program- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology- Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred- X-ray license required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
