Job Description

Overview:We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing gentle, quality dental care to our patients.
Duties:- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations- Administer local anesthesia (for SRPs we have Oraqix; if you are not comfortable injecting, our doctors are happy to step in) and nitrous oxide as needed- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
Experience:- Knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health systems, and dental imaging techniques- Recording patient medical history- Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health care

Our practice hours:
8:30am-5pm: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
8:30am-4:30pm: Friday
**We are looking for a full time hygienist, four days. Days to be determined.
**We give you 60 minutes for adult prophys, 40/50 minutes for teen prophys, and 40 minutes for child prophys. Adult new patient exams and cleanings are 90 minutes, teen new patient exams and cleanings are 60 minutes, and child new patient exams and cleaning are 50 minutes. We give you the time to spend with patients to do a thorough cleaning, to get to know your patients, and to educate them on their oral health. Assistance provided for perio charting and room turn over.
